Reggie Stutzman - Provisional Pastor


Born and Raised in Minneapolis, MN and after living in other states, moved to New York City in 1997. Married to Ibelsa Stutzman for 26 years. Three children: Johnathan (31), Emma (23) Levi (20). Pastor Reggie went to Elim Bible Institute in Lima, NY and also graduated NYACK College.  He has traveled to 7 different Countries in Africa, Moscow, Russia and Israel several times for mission trips, pastors training conferences and trainings. Pastor Reggie served as the Director of Compassionate Care at The Bowery Mission in Manhattan for 10 years, serving the homeless population and running the historic chapel. He was also heavily involved in 9/11 outreaches to Ground Zero for many months. Pastor Reggie and Ibelsa have been church planters in the South Bronx, NYC with Real Life Church and they have also formed The Prodigal Center, a nonprofit organization serving those in need with a weekly pantry and clothing distribution center in the South Bronx.  Over 25,000 people are served each year at The Prodigal Center. They have also envisioned and executed many outreaches from backpack distributions, skateboard outreaches, Thanksgiving Day feedings of serving over 9,000 people over 9 years, night outreaches to women working the streets and street homeless, family shelter outreaches and outdoor Vacation Bible Schools.

Pastor Reggie has received several Proclamations, Citations of Merit and Awards from elected officials, City Council members, Mayors of New York City, and State Assembly members and members of Congress. 

Pastor Reggie and Ibelsa are humbled and blessed to be a part of the Good New Church family and to what the Lord has in store for this beautiful body of believers. 


Fred Kim - Assistant Pastor

Fred grew up in Maryland.  He attended the University of Pennsylvania for undergraduate studies, followed by Westminster Theological Seminary, Princeton Seminary, and a PhD at Union Theological Seminary. Currently, he teaches high school students at a classical Christian school in Manhattan.

Fred is married to Jen and they have one daughter and one son.

 
 
 
 

natalia rodriguez - children’s director

Natalia is New York native, raised in the Bronx. Her passion for music led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the City College of New York and later a Master of Arts from Dallas Theological Seminary. During her time in Dallas, she worked with children and youth as a classroom teacher and missionary. Currently, she teaches at a Christian school in Manhattan.

She joined the staff of GNC in the Spring of 2019.

 

Our governing council

Good News Church belongs to the Christian Reformed Church of North America. The local church is governed by a council of elders and deacons. The following elders and deacons are currently serving on our council.
